I want refresh my silent blog with this little Wip about one of the childrenbook stories taken from Bologna^^ . Guess who is him? :)
Some help: he is a little and unlucky english young boy, his name is Oliver... ;)

Bologna Children Book Fair 2015

Hi! I come back from Bologna Children Book Fair. I want share with you some pics that I taken. This fair is so important for me and this year I've done some meetings with publishers that I think were going well :) *Crossing the fingers*^^
Are you never been in this fair? If you are illustrators or writers I suggest you, is very inspiring! I'm also happy to have find a lot of my friends illustrators. We had a great time!
I hope to see again them in the next fair!

Finalmente dopo tanto tergiversare, sono riuscita finalmente a costruire il mio sito dove potete trovare i lavori più recenti! :) Per festeggiare metto l'ultima copertina a cui ho finito di lavorare ieri sera :) (non fate caso ai colori psichedelici, il file in cmyk a web è stato convertito in colori Rgb^^).

I'm back to show you the making of the cover of "Anne of the green gables", an evergreen of the literature of childhood, written in 1908 by Lucy Maud Montgomery . Below you can see the various steps by which it is "born" my Anne. :) Enjoy!!

Mostra Kosmos & Chaos - 30 Illustratori raccontano il Carnevale

Di recente sulla mia Pagina FB ho postato varie Wip di un lavoro in corso per un progetto molto interessante. Questo evento si svela nella Mostra organizzata dalla mitica Nicoletta Pagano, "Kosmos & Chaos" inaugurata il 31 Gennaio presso la Galleria Furio del Furia di Foiano della Chiana (Ar).

Nicoletta ha invitato me e ad altri ottimi illustratori e pittori a ideare un'immagine che potesse raccontare una versione fuori dagli stereotipi la manifestazione goliardica per eccellenza, che a Foiano poi - paese della bella Valdichiana - trova la più antica tradizione italiana ad oggi arrivata all'edizione 476°!

Così ecco qua alcune foto della presentazione a cui hanno presenziato Nicoletta Pagano, Paolo Chiari, il sindaco di Foiano della Chiana Francesco Sonnati, il Presidente del Carnevale, l'assessore e la curatrice della Biennale di Pittura adiacente alla mostra Kosmos & Chaos. 
Per chi fosse curioso di vedere una carrellata di foto dei lavori esposti invito oltre che a visitare la Mostra che durerà fino al 1° Marzo aperta tutti i sabati e domeniche, anche a cliccare sulla pagina dell'evento Fb. :)

Concorso nuovi Artisti per Topolino

Ho partecipato al concorso indetto da Panini Comics, per trovare nuovi artisti fumettisti per il famoso fumetto settimanale "Topolino". Una bella occasione per me, sopratutto per avere il pretesto per esercitarmi su qualcosa di nuovo e diverso dal mio mondo dell'illustrazione. 

Ecco qua alcuni dei lavori che ho inviato ad agosto (quasi a fine termine dalla chiusura del concorso! Da brivido!). Potrete trovarne altri sulla mia Pagina Fb :)

 

 

 

A Wonderful Book with Jùlia Sardà

Hi guys! I have followed this interesting workshop organized by the team of IDEA Academy in Rome this last June! I'm very enjoed. We have worked on the study of characters design from the Roald Dahl's story: "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

The method teached by our master fantastic Jùlia Sardà, is it in digital solution but with a traditional result, thanks at the very helpfull brushes that Jùlia usually uses. During 3 days we have learned a lot and the time is going fast...too much fast! ^^
Well I want show you the final result of a little part described in The Chocolate Factory, when Charlie find his golden ticket! :)
